Teacher Feature: Meet Regina!

Last month we welcomed a new instructor and format into our studio – please join us in welcoming Regina Acevedo to our team!

Regina has been living in the Twin Cities for over 4 years. She grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, where she spent her years in high school as a varsity swimmer and water polo player. Her first introduction to teaching was giving swimming lessons at the age of 15 to people of all ages. Taking group fitness classes during the past year made her realize the passion she has for group fitness, so she decided to become certified in Core De Force and Insanity – two of Beachbody’s most popular programs. She has been teaching group fitness classes since February of this year and is excited to add Six Degrees to her schedule. She finds it truly rewarding to motivate and energize a group of people, while having a blast at the same time!

Regina enjoys anything that keeps her moving (like rock climbing) – and she’ll be competing in her first Olympic triathlon in August! She loves to travel and lived in Europe for two years – one year in Edinburgh, Scotland, and another year in Madrid, Spain…jealous, much?

Come try Core de Force with Regina! Core de Force is a mixed martial arts-inspired workout designed to slash inches off your waist, blast belly fat, and sculpt total-body definition—no equipment needed.
