Pilates Reformer
The Reformer is the traditional piece of equipment used in the Pilates Method. Classes are limited to six students, allowing for individualized work and instructor attention. The machines’ springs support the larger muscle groups so that you can focus on elongating and building the small muscles that support your posture and overall health. We periodically offer a six-week series for beginners. Private sessions are available and can be geared toward other Pilates equipment, such as the Barrel or Chair, for tailored results.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates uses your own body weight to bring out your inner strength. The practice, once known as “contrology,” focuses on freedom of movement built on a strong core. It is adaptable to students of every level of physical ability and each class is led by a certified Pilates instructor. Classes occasionally incorporate a variety of studio props to create an even stronger core connection.
Expand Your Practice
We often hold special workshops, fusion classes, and continuing education to bring Pilates together with other modes in our studio. Please check the schedule for upcoming opportunities for everyone from beginners to certified instructors.
Private Sessions
Privates instruction with Pilates is the most effective way to define and achieve your individual needs and goals. Instructors will provide you with challenging and varied lessons which will move you rapidly towards your goals and give you insight into your body’s movement capabilities.
A private session as an initial evaluation, is a great to experience the studio and all we have to offer. Many students use both privates, semi-privates, and classes in their exercise regimen.
We offer discounts on Privates for first time clients. See private rates.
