Yep, I said “the pelvis.” And while I’m sure you’re slightly dubious about spending four hours learning about your pelvis, here are three reasons you should consider coming to Cady Eddy’s back-to-back workshops this Sunday afternoon, Nov. 23.
- Incontinence is a huge problem, particularly for women who have had children. But just being “normal” doesn’t make it exactly pleasant to pee a little every time you giggle! A strong pelvic floor can bounce back from incontinence or make sure the problem doesn’t get worse.
- Many of us are secretly befuddled when told to keep a “neutral pelvis” during our workouts. Cady will not only tell us, but show us, just what the heck we’re supposed to be doing (or not doing).
- The pelvic bowl is the lynchpin of our bodies, connecting our frenetic legs with a strong core that can keep our bodies moving freely. Getting to know the pelvis means finding your best posture, taking pressure off your back, and even letting your body look and feel its longest and leanest.
