LWC in Place of Sunday School

Because of the future implementation of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and the expansion of LWC, we will no longer have traditional Sunday School during the 9 a.m. Mass. All families already registered have been notified by email.

EXCITING NEWS! We are expanding Liturgy of the Word for Children (LWC), which was for 6 to 12 year olds, to now include ages 3 to 5! LWC will begin in September and be offered at both Sunday Masses. New this year, LWC will continue through the summer at the 9 a.m. Mass only. Beth Halbert, our Preschool Coordinator, has been hard at work creating curriculum for your children. If you have had children in Sunday School classes, you already know what a terrific job she does. Much of the content will feel familiar. LWC will give your children an experience of the Word in a meaningful, age appropriate way, while allowing them to experience the Mass. There is no need to register your children. Simply send them when Fr. Steven calls the children forward at Mass.
